I installed a WarCraft II Map repository to share custom maps. You find all of my maps there including thumbnails. You can also write me if you have maps. I would share those, too.

Would be nice if there was a separate folder to access when hosting a game, that we could put our custom maps in. Also would be nice if they were automatically downloaded to that folder like in older versions.
That automatic download into the own local map directory should be done by the game itself. Blizzard has to fix that in the Remaster version.
The repository is there for the general availability of the maps. It helps so that you can download and exchange the maps even without an active multiplayer game. There is not always a lobby with these maps open, but you can get them here before the game starts.
Providing a folder where everyone can upload their own maps is much more complex. That would exceed my resources. But if I get the maps somewhere, I can upload them to the webspace myself and then they will also appear in the repository.
