My virus scanner found this BScope.Exploit.Shellcode in the updater
mine does too… false positive?
This is what VBA32 Anti-Virus detects, and it’s a common detection of that particular antivirus. An exploit/shellcode is typically a way, that a hacker, if they OWN the EXPLOIT, they can run shellcode on their system as well as yours, if the EXPLOIT is known. Although, I cannot find any vulnerability published under this type, so likely nothing to worry about. Could be a behaviour of BATTLENET, orrr, IDK. Looks like BATTLENET might have a BACKDOOR that needs to be fixed, though.
