Video Wake Lock

Brutosaur video ad prevents display sleep

C:\Windows\System32>powercfg -requests
DISPLAY:
[PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume8\Program Files (x86)\Battle.net\Battle.net.exe
Video Wake Lock

Very annoying to have to always close launcher app to allow display to turn off. :frowning:

Big +1 as it seems like the video ad is exactly to blame here. Running powercfg /requests and a quick Google brought me to this thread. I’ve tried enabling/disabling hardware acceleration, same issue. Reboot b net launcher and Display will go back to None until you tab into World of Warcraft in the launcher and mouse over the Brutosaur ad, causing the video to start. Unfortunately, after playing WoW and closing, this is the very first ad that pulls up and generally starts playing. Workaround is to simply close the launcher altogether, or tab over to the Cure Duchenne ad (but I wish I didn’t have to).
