My FPS will jump from 170 down to 50 or lower constantly, and often the game will completely freeze for a second or two with the audio cutting out too. This happens in campaign as well as multiplayer. The game is unplayable.
MW, Black Ops, and all my other games run fine. My GPU drivers are up to date. I have tried changing all the graphics settings around (including turning off on demand texture streaming) with no luck.
What’s strange is the first few multiplayer games I played ran OK, FPS fluctuated around 120-170 and there was a tiny bit of stuttering at times but overall it was 100% playable. I left the game for a few hours then when I came back the FPS drops and freezing started, in MP and singleplayer.
I spent so much time changing settings around that now I am no longer eligible for a refund due to playtime, and I keep getting an error when I try to appeal the refund request… so hopefully I can get to play the game because it looks like I’m not getting my money back…
