Warzone/MW and CW work fine. Vanguard launches a black screen. Try and launch Vanguard from another game…Never opens.

Edit : I restarted in the games “safe mode” because I can crash it repeatedly. Still broken lol.

I updated Windows, Nvidia, tried in safe mode, check and repair, nothing worked…

I’m facing exactly the same problem from the day before yesterday. On Tuesday night, the game was upgraded, as were the graphics card drivers. Immediately after the game started normally. However yesterday when I tried to run it, the screen remained black. The music sounds normal while at the same time the cursor appears normally.
You can crash the game by clicking on where the multiplayer/campaign/zombies icons should be. You can hear the click while the mouse goes over them (odd thing is mouse shows cursor). Click one and fill in a crash report.
Same problem since yesterday afternoon.I tried everything also.Actision did have a print in red saying they were aware that some were having problems,.That message is not showing anymore. Activision*-Anyone having any advice. I,ve tried everything I know.
the same here was working yesterday morning after I installed new NVidia driver and then when I tried to run it yesterday afternoon black screen.
has anyone got a fix yet.
do activision check these forum posts.
it would be nice if they did and let us know if they are working on a fix as paying for something and then it not working and getting no info is a little bit rude.

Yesterday everything works fine.
I don’t really get it since I was playing at 6am this morning. I updated my drivers yesterday for Dying Light 2 and played Vanguard all day just fine. I alt-f4’d to save my GPU from spinning. No Windows Updates or restarts.
I don’t think an update for the game happened this morning although I may have not been at my PC. Regardless this is not what I expect when I buy AAA games. This has been the buggiest CoD ever and I own most of them lol.
If there is a better forum feel free to point me towards it and I’ll whine there.

I,m able to play Warzone,BOCW, Caldera. Hpefully todays update will fix this.Hopefully*
I had the same thing happen . I went back 1 video driver and now able to play

My roll back button is dimmed.I couldn,t roll back.I reinstalled the driver. I still cannot roll back to previous driver.
I went to the Nvidia website to get the driver
No black screen, but tried playing today after the update and the game is throwing weird artifacts on the screen that shimmer on a RTX 3080 Ultra. Obviously, something that got in that patch broke the game.
Same here, was playing fine earlier this morning, left came back and nothing but the black screen. Music plays just fine.
I can,t roll back my driver because I did a clean install yesterday from Nvidia website.I tried to uninstall in Windows 10 .It won,t even uninstall the new version. I guess I,ll play Caldera,it works.BOCW work also. I also went to Nvidia wesite and reinstalled the new update from yesterday.
