Recently I have been playing rotwood, a game that I use a controller to play, and if the battlenet desktop app is open, but in the background, it seems to be getting inputs from my controller. I have had my friends list popped out, a call made, and it’s attempted to install wow a couple of times. I don’t know for certain that this is caused specifically by controller inputs, but it’s what makes sense to me given my experience. I’ve noticed though that others have been reporting ghost inputs in the app, so it is possible that this is related to that issue and the correlation between controller use and this bug is mere coincidence.

Yep, it is absolutely an issue with controller inputs, it’s been an infuriating issue for months and months and months with absolutely no hint of a resolution in sight. The people responsible for maintaining the battle.net desktop application are entirely worthless so you can expect this issue to never be fixed.
Still an issue. Noticed it a while ago but recently I’ve been playing more games on a controller and it is starting to become a real issue. Random buttons get pressed on the app launching random socials and even the store one time. Could have actually resulted in accidental purchases.
Same issue here. I managed to change my language to french while playing expedition 33 which is surprisingly thematic.
