I am trying to return to my Blizzard account after a few years and find I am unable to login, either in the mobile app or desktop app, and only sometimes in the website portal (although these last few password resets I have not been successful there either).
The error it keeps giving is “we couldn’t verify your account with that information” but it also tells me “please enter your password” despite having definitely entered it on each attempt. Otherwise, the email is also correct and I have tried to reset my password to distinct passwords more than 5 times now with no success. I also deleted and reinstalled both desktop and mobile apps and cleared the caches, as well as typing in the email and password manually and not using autofill just in case, but all to no avail. Same with trying on a different computer.
The account seemed to be locked at first, and customer support was able to verify my identity and restored access but this did not solve the login issue. After going back and forth a few times, they asked me to post in the forums so here I am.
