Last night I decided to change my battle.net email, as my old email is nearly 20 years old and is now inaccessible. This was a huge mistake. Now, everytime I attempt to log in to Battle.net, it will automatically use my old email, not my new one, and tell me that no account is associated with my old email. I have no option to log in with my current credentials. The only option I have upon clicking the “log in” button is to create a new account. Even if I go down the new account path, it will always and ultimately lead me back to the “no account associated” screen. I’m pretty sure the issue is battle.net auto filling my old email and not my new email as I logged in with absolutely no problem using an incognito window. The closest I have come to logging in on the actual app that plays the game is when I was met with a “too many attempts” screen and I chose to log in offline. This granted me access to my account, but when I clicked “go online” I was met with an infinite “logging in” buffer. I have put in multiple tickets, but the Blizzard bot in charge of responding to my tickets just can not comprehend that the problem is not with account verification or recovery. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Did you try Blizzard’s troubleshooting steps for this issue?
Having the exact same problem and also have had no success with Blizzard tickets. Have been told over and over to try very basic troubleshooting even when I state in my ticket what I have already attempted. The reply to your comment is not helpful, have tried that many times (navigating through security and saying to clear login information literally does nothing) as well as deleting everything associated with the launcher and any cache data. Never works, when redownloading battle.net it already has old email data logged in and can’t make changes.
Ok, how about just hopping on a VPN to another city so it makes you type in the information manually?
