BLZBNTAGT00000840 - brand new laptop (just bought today), Windows 11, 32GB RAM 2TB SDD Ryzen 5. Battlenet is the first thing I installed, getting this error when attempting to install/update WoW Retail. Have done uninstalls and restarts and fresh installs, still getting same error message.
Update: I have Battlenet and WoW on an external SSD (which is why I bought a new laptop to begin with), and now that version won’t update. Same error BLZBNTAGT00000840.
Getting the same error code when trying to install Battle.net on a new machine. Not an update, not trying to install a game, just trying to install Battle.net.
Same here, tried to install Battle.net on a brand new MacBook running Sequoia 15.2, tried all the Blizzard recommended troubleshoots plus some others i found on forums and nothing doin, just more BLZBNTAGT00000840
I am having the same issue. Brand new computer with all windows updates installed. Installed battlenet and when i go to install game it gives me the same error.
Window 11, Rizen 7, 32 gig ram, AMD 7700 8gb graphics.
Same issue on Steam Deck. all attempted updates get the 840 error
