I purchased the Diablo 3 Battle Chest this morning and have spent the whole day trying to install it, but unsuccessfully. Here are the two issues:
Issue 1: After installation of the Battle.net App into my newly purchased windows 10 PC, I run it as Admin as instructed online, entered the Battle.net, selected “Diablo III” at the left bar, and then clicked the big blue button “Install”. Then came out a pop-up saying “Diablo III Installation” but with no where to click. After a while (pretty long), the pop-up turned into a window that you can choose the installation path and click “Start” to install. The pop-up disappeared and there was a progress bar with “Waiting…” in it at the Battle.net app. I waited for very very very long time and the progress bar disappeared. Then the blue button of “Install” was lighted up again. I clicked it. The previous no-where-to-click pop-up “Diablo III Installation” appeared again. I waited 30min or one hour but the pop-up stayed the same way: no where to click to proceed.
Issue 2: Because I was not able to proceed with the installation of Diablo III as stated in Issue 1. I closed the pop-up and logout the Battle.net App. Then I tried to log in again with admin account. The Battle.net App crashed with an error message " BLZBNTBNA00000008". I can only re-install the Battle.net to start it.
I have tried many solutions that I can find online, including but not limited to: run as admin account, uninstall the anti-virus app, use cable connection, clear app’s cache, turn on Secondary Logon, update drivers, download EU server APP (I am in US), disable background apps, restart PC (of course)… My whole Saturday has been spent on this issue, trying different online solutions and repeating installation/uninstallation. You guys are my last hope. Can anyone help me?
