Ok so there is a guy on sc2 arcade that basically trolls. This guy has like 20 accounts, which he use them to copy other people name and troll with it. He joins lobbies to afk, no matter how much time you spend kicking his accounts he will eventually create another one to continue trolling. I tried to report him multiple times but nothing happens. Its been month like this and a lot of people is already annoyed. Is anyway i can reach someone from sc2 or battle net support to try and ban this guy?
First
https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/sc2/
Second
There isnt a way to perma ban them. Bnet accounts are free. The arcade is free. Even if blizzard bans all the accounts, 100s more can be made.
actually its possible, blizzard can apply ip ban to his computer and/or to this wifi
No matechmol, in a world of dynamic IP/DHCP, IP bans are not an effective method of blocking specfic people from connecting. Plus, IP blocks can affect innocent players down the line.
And as pointed out, this isn’t the forum for SC2. Please refer to the large message banner at the top of each forum page for each games’ forums, or follow the link that Beast provided.
Please, you’ve not been helpful in both of the two recent posts of yours I’ve seen. It’s fine if your mad about something, but be mindful that you are making that which you don’t like worse for others with inaccurate information and bad advice.
I like how you always say players Including this gentleman give bad advice about something that is a real problem and you give them so WHACK of answer all the time. Just saying.
Not sure what you mean.
First, I never said that trolling in the arcade isn’t a problem. Next, what I said about IP bans is correct, and as such, matechmol’s assertion is incorrect. Next, no one from SC2 will see this post in this forum, hence it should be placed in the proper SC2 forum for any chance of being seen. And finally, inaccurate information and bad advice doesn’t help (it never does in any situation, not just this one).
And you think those are “whack” answers?
No, TeknoDemon, it sounds like you are attempting to equate “whack” with simply not liking the answers.
And looking back over my recent post history, I’m not seeing any “whack” answers, at least not in the true meaning of the word.
