Switch account button doesn't work

EDIT : same problem as en/blizzard/t/cant-switch-bewteen-accounts/58169 , same fix (deleting AppData\Local\Battle.net folder) worked, this post can be discarded

All of a sudden the “Switch account” option stopped working
After a brief loading screen, I get back to the same screen where I can login to blizzard account X, but can’t change it. That makes me unable to play on my main account, only on the alt.

I reinstalled battle.net to no avail

Known issue.

Try the workaround provided in here:

Windows + R (or search in taskbar for “run” ) type %appdata% Appdata > Local > Battle.net (delete this one) make a copy just in case this worked for me

If that doesn’t work, try nuking the BNet App from your PC, and then re-install. There’s a link to download the BNet App at the top of this forum.

we would want to see if nuking the Battle.net Application helps. The steps that follow are more thorough than a basic uninstall and covers every location that temporary files may be stored to ensure a fresh install is done for the app.

1. Uninstall the application
2. Press Windows key + R and type in %temp%
3. Delete anything related to Blizzard or Battle.net
4. Do the same for %programdata%, %localappdata%, %appdata%
5. Reinstall the application. A fresh installer should be downloaded for this
