I was recently infected with malware and was reinstalling all my launchers and stuff and decided to browse my files to make sure everything I redownloaded was legit and found a file named “Fake-Host” in my appdata for battle.net. Is this a legitimate file or do I need to take security measures?
Guessing you mean this one:
AppData\Local\Battle.net\BrowserCaches\common\Storage\ext\fake-host
That’s used for the Battle.net browser, which is how it shows you the promotional stuff and news.

Thank you so much for clearing that up, I was really worried because the malware that I had was named fakegoogle and had a heart attack thinking I installed another one.
