Suddenly can't play hearthstone on windows

What’s going on with my account, I can’t play hearthstone I log into battle net and open hearthstone, the window opens and I get a loading indicator then I get a fatal error time out screen.

Initially, I thought it was my Windows computer, so I reinstalled hearthstone and same problem persists. So then I log out of my battle net and my boyfriend signs into his account and his account loads hearthstone loads and is able to play. I use my account to sign into his computer and I get the same issue that I get on my computer. This leads me to believe that it’s not hardware but account related.
What is going on? I was just playing one night and then this? Did I get locked out or suspended? I never got an email and blizzard support can’t seem to understand what I am needing help with. They just send me troubleshooting steps as if my hardware is the problem. This has been on going since 6-10-2024 Help!

If resetting the password does not solve the issue, use the “Contact Us” button and submit a ticket. Provide as much detail as possible if you need to submit a ticket.

Hi,
I did contact hearthstone support/ account. They told me they can only help with software related support which is annoying.

I recently tried accessing hearthstone via europe server which works, but I created my account on the Americas side which is where all my collection is.

I was informed via blizzard support to use run command %localappdata% and go into the blizzard folder/ hearthstone and delete the cach folder to remedy my issue since files could have gotten corrupted on the americas side with no success.

I’m at a loss.

Is your ticket still open ? If so, reply to it that you have tried the troubleshooting they suggested but that it didn’t solve the issue.

Add that you can access and play Hearthstone on Europe, but that all your collection is in America. State again that your boyfriend can login and play Hearthstone on your PC with his Battle.Net account… and that you cannot login and play Hearthstone with your account both on his PC and on your PC (that is a standard test to check whether the issue is hardware related or account related – in your case, the result shows that it is account related).

Finally, ask Support to please escalate the issue and have a deeper examination of the issue with your account.

If Support closed your ticket, you will need to open another one and provide that info again: :frowning: . Also provide the number of your first ticket in the description so that they can link both tickets.

Hi,
I have mentioned all of the things that you brought up, but I will create another ticket and mention the ticket number of my previous reports and summarize this information again.

It is disappointing that I can't get a clear solution after reporting about this issue for a week now.

Other people are having this issue and similar response from blizzard support. At one point i was told to create a post on the technical forum for a solution and for developers to see my problem. :annoyed:
