The game rolls OK to the select character screen. I pick the character I want to play, it dumps me to the loading screen, the blue progress bar goes all the way to the right, it makes the “you have arrived” noise where typically you would be in game and see your toon. My guildmate says I am showing logged into the client and game, but I am still stuck on my loading screen, can not use the escape key to get out, and have to ctl alt del to go to task manager to get out completely. Have checked for updates using the Batlenet app, as well as check and repair. No joy.

Exact same issue. Multiple characters. full reboot. no joy
FWIW the screen loading times have been getting increasingly longer they last couple days

Had the same issue tried it on three different toons and each time it would tell me that that character already exists if I tried exiting the game and logging back in. Finally started working again after about 20 minutes.

Same here. Two of my toons get stuck at loading screen, if I close the game and come back, I get a message saying this character already exists.

I’m having the same problem. After Authenticator app said it has moved to B-Net
I’m having 2 problems on start up, I choose my toon and the loading bar freezes at full or it get 3/4 of the way across and goes back to my toons and say character name exists. I finally got in after a few goes but it lagged out and eventually crashed after about an hour of playing. I then tried restarting the PC checking updates and closing unnecessary apps (which i’ve never had to do previously) and got stuck at the first 2 problems again

Stuck on one particular character on Dragon Isles.
other characters are able to login, but this one is currently in the “void” and does not display a location. Did a reboot of both the PC and game, disabled all addons. Going to try deleting the cache and running a scan. Contemplating opening a ticket.
Looks like this is affecting multiple people though.

Game has loading issues all around dragon isle. Stuck on loading screen, all characters. It started roughly 12 hours ago and has been getting worse.
Any ideas how to escalate this further?
Edit: Seems to mostly be an issue in valdrakken. Open world and dungeons seem ok
Still ongoing. Was playing just fine, went to change toons, progress bar complete, can hear background sounds, stuck on load screen. Disconnects after a bit… Ugggg
