Stuck on Initializing

Decided to come back to WoW. Tried installing via battle.net launcher and it won’t even begin. Just in an initialization loop.

I tried reinstalling Bnet, deleting info in ProgramData, deleting WoW and restarting install, restarting app in admin mode, restarting PC, pausing and unpausing install.

Nothing works.

Anyone able to assist?

Having the same issue. Tried all the trouble shooting. Nothing is working.

Reinstalled WoW.
Reinstalled Bnet.
Rebooted.
Connected via ether net cable instead of wireless.
Ran BNet in Admin mode.
repaired files.
etc etc etc.

Nothing is getting me past the initializing loop to be able to play.

No issues downloading MWII.

Same for me. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. Switched drives, and switched back. Deleted all associated files and restarted. Nothing works.

same problem here tried everything and nothing its getting kinda old

wouldnt you know id say something and it starts to update so sry people

I’m having the same problem. Tried a scan and repair and left for work, came back to nothing working. Tried reinstalling everything. Just my luck on expansion day. :frowning:

well it took a total of 5 minutes for the server to take a dump and stall now I can’t login how does it feel blizz to steal from your subscribers

I was able to login, but when I tried to start the game it hung for over a minute and then tells me that the World Server is Down.
Go figure!

Yup Stuck… it starts to init…then bombs and fails out. 80$ for the game… and then… all my friends laugh and prod me… for being a douche. Imagine… a 58 year old computer engineer…and they blame me being incompetent on why BLIZZ won’t let me log in. So, do I get play time back… because… I cannot play? I knew that tons of Hordie toons on the Zeppelin tower outside of Orgrimmar was not going to be pretty… but who knew that the servers would crash all the time… and the damn game won’t even init? !!! Of course, when the talent tree patch came … it corrupted all my files… had to wipe all of WOW and download the multigig installer… and do it from the beginning. Can I get my 80$ back… ?

The same thing has been happening to me for two days. Nothing seems to fix it, just gets to “Initialising 2145581/2145581” and then repeats. A lovely blue post assuring us that something is being worked on would go a long way toward assuaging our despondency.
