I am stuck at the Updating Blizzard Agent window.
A little while ago it simply wouldn’t let me run it at all because it said I had another copy running. There is only this one account on the system. This is my backup system so I do have it installed on another laptop.
Here is my dxdiag, hopefully something will make sense. I have tried a few of the instructions I have seen posted.

Hey Fleetwood,
In your situation, you may need to do a clean reinstall of the app:
-
Uninstall the Blizzard app
- Next open the temp locations and delete any Battlenet and Blizzard folders you see in each location. Press Windows Key + R and type:
• %LOCALAPPDATA%
• %APPDATA%
• %TEMP%
• %PROGRAMDATA%
- Finally go ahead and reinstall the app from here. Make sure you run as Admin.

No go. Followed your steps although there was no Blizzard app to uninstall. I did go through the drive manually and searched for files.
This time I got through to the intstallation screen (with the mana wyrm), but it will go so far and then revert to 0 and start over, hitting different points each time.
First couple of times it got to that screen it switched after a few seconds to the Whoops! screen but the third time I clicked the box to start it.

I am also having this issue, though I can’t get past ‘updating blizzard agent’ when trying to reinstall.

Hello friend, if you fixed the problem please share your solution as i am having slightly the same problem.
I’m screwed as well, tried everything. Uninstalled everything. deleted everything. Turned off firewall, anti-virus. and more. THe errors in the log file to me indicate an improper server setting as it appears that it can’t connect to the server/port.

Heya Fleetwood,
Typically when I see errors like this one the issue is related to security software on the device. Lets try this:
Tried all of the above and still facing the same issue. Any other workarounds or solutions?
