Status permanently as away after installing mobile app

After logging in to the mobile app, it is impossible to have a natural offline state.
My status is always shown as “Away for x minute(s)”, despite having:

  1. detached and disabled authenticator on the account
  2. logged out of the mobile app
  3. uninstalled the mobile app
  4. logged in the battle.net website and logged out of all devices

Now, after finishing a gaming session and closing the battle.net desktop app, instead of showing as offline, it will display away.
The only way to fix this is to “appear offline”, and changing to online manually every time after logging in on the desktop app, and changing to offline before logging off/ closing battle.net desktop app.

I just tested this out myself and I am now also stuck in perma “Away” on “Mobile” when the launcher is closed.

I can confirm the findings of FrostyFeet and Leviathan, the same issue applies to me (using the mobile app on android and battle.net app on windows 11)
