did blizzard shut down all their StarCraft BroodWar servers? I cant make connection. Was gonna play some good ol custom games.

I am also having this issue.
Upon Login, after the “Loading” screen, the following message appears;
“Failed to make initial server connection (Error 2:5)”
I then attempt to Login at the top right corner of the screen
I proceeded to login via Google and received the following message;
“Failed to make initial server connection (Error 2:2)”
Hopefully this information helps with the troubleshooting or something.

I am also having the same login error 2:2 and 2:5 Cant connect to game server… what is going on ?? You Send all the techs home and the place goes to hell in a matter of hours…

that’s sorta what I was wondering. wish blizzard actually looked at their classic games forum. unfortunately only the money maker games get their tender loving care.

Guys I highly recommend tweeting @blizzardCS if you want a response quickly. Stay on top of them. That’s how I got attention on a Diablo 2 realm problem.
