Greetings.
I’d like to report two incidents I’m experiencing, and before you say it’s my PC, I’ve reproduced it on three different computers, two with Windows 10 and one with Windows 11. The Windows 11 PC was even connected to another network to rule out an internet problem.
Well, the first issue is that every time I launch the application, download, or launch a game, the Windows User Account Control pop-up window appears, indicating that changes need to be made to the computer. You know, the one that tells us whether the publisher is trusted or not.
And second, I downloaded the game Starcraft 2. Since I’m from Mexico, the language and text options are set to Latin American Spanish. The game downloads “without problems” apparently, but when I launch it, a window appears saying that “game data is being prepared.” It takes about five minutes to download the 580 MB indicated by the counter, as it downloads at a very slow speed, and once the game starts, everything is in English, not Spanish. I can change the language in the game options, but every time I try to play, after a restart or shutdown of the PC, it goes back to “prepare game data” and everything is set to English.
I’ve tried several proposed solutions I’ve read on this and other forums, without success. But the fact that the problem is repeated on other PCs leads me to deduce that the source is the application or Blizzard’s servers.
