I have same issue whole day today. EU account.

Still having this issue today, was able to spam reload last night and get it to work a few times, but no luck today doing that.

Been having update issues for the last week, unable to play on Mac :(.

don’t think that has anything to do with what we’re talking about in this post, just saying.

Hey there,

Is the issue you are seeing the news feed not loading, but you still can navigate and access your games and settings etc…?

If that is the case then the issue could either be some sort of network/security restriction blocking the connection to the news feed service. It shouldn’t impact your ability to manage Blizzard app functions or launch/play any hosted games.

Things to consider would be proxies, firewalls, security programs, vpns, etc…

If you can’t solved it by troubleshooting the above potential causes, go ahead and post the issue in the bug report forums to make sure it is on our QA team’s radar.

Now if the issue is nothing is loading in the Blizzard Desktop Application, so you can’t access options, the shop, or launch any game clients, then that is likely going to be either corruption with the Blizzard Desktop Application, a permission issues or some sort of interference from other software on the system. If that is the case, then look for potential software conflicts by disabling any non essential programs on the system to test, then try wiping the Blizzard Desktop Application as follows:

  1. Open file explorer/file manager (Right Click Windows Start)
  2. Navigate to the folder where the desktop application would normally be installed. Delete that folder if it exists (usually program files x86)
  3. Type the following into the address bar (not the search bar): %APPDATA% and press enter.
  4. Delete the Bnet and blizzard folders inside the appdata folder if they exist.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 with %PROGRAMDATA% %LOCALAPPDATA% and %TEMP%
  6. Empty the recycle bin.
  7. Now reinstall the app to the C: Drive. (The Blizzard Desktop Application should always be installed to your Main OS drive to prevent potential permission issues.)

The issue is only with the news feed not loading. Rest is working fine, like accessing to games, shop and settings. I turned off antivirus and news still not loading. I’m not using vpns or other security programs other then anitvirus.
I did also a full reinstall and deleted evertything from the locations you suggested and that did not help.
I have to mention also, it sometimes loads and sometimes not, usualy reload button works but have to press it few times sometimes untill news loads.
