i cant update my game

Howdy!

The something broke errors are normally caused by extreme corruption in the game files, which stops the app from being able to actually update the game. The best fix for these is to uninstalling the game then reinstall via the app.

If that doesn’t do the trick please reply back with the full error code you’re getting so we can narrow down the cause.

After a week trying to quick fix this… this is what I had to do… it seemed excessive.

1. Uninstall MW then restart.
2. Unistall battle.net then restart
3. Update Windows 10 then restart
4. Update my video card drivers (GeForce) for me then restart
5. Re install Battle.net
6. Re install Modern Warfare… 168 gigs (overnight)
7. Start the game then it crashed
8. Restart the game and it accepts the update
9. Restart the game and wait for it to complete the update
10. Play the game… it worked fine after that.
    Reading all the user forum fixes didnt help in my case.
