[Solved]Battle.net installer will not start!

This is the first time I have attempted to use Blizzard’s forums so forgive me if I seem like I have no clue what I’m doing.

Recently, a few friends from work invited me to start playing Overwatch and WoW with them and so I decided I’d give it a shot. I went onto the website, downloaded the battle net setup executable and continue to get the same error after multiple attempts to fix. Immediately upon starting the battle.net-Setup.exe, I’m met with an error window. The window tells me this, “We couldn’t verify a digital signature. Follow the steps in this support article to fix this issue.” It gives me the error code BLZBNTBTS00000011.

I have scoured the internet to try and find a reasonable fix and I have tried everything I can find. I tried the steps in the error code it gave me; installed the certificate and everything, following every word the site told me. I then went to try cleaning my PC using malwarebytes to see if anything was corrupted and everything checked out clean. I then tried opening a whole bunch of ports in my firewall that Blizzard suggests on their Firewall page, and still nothing. My computer clock and date are perfectly in sync with my location and I am unsure what to do.

I know this is a handful, but I just want to be able to play these great games with my friends. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you and have a nice day!

Hey, FluxPlays! Thanks for trying the steps on the main support article and a few other steps. With it persisting, could you try seeing if the Application works on a New Admin account while on the new admin account, run through an image repair scan and file checker?

Once done, a Windows update can also resolve this error. If it continues, could you provide the Windows version? Press Windows Key + R, and type in winver. This should bring up a window, could you provide the OS Build information?

For Windows 10, Version 1803 and 1809 gets stuck on updates, and sometimes requires manually updating to 1903, here.

And like that, it works! Thank you so much! My system was running 1809 so after updating, it worked perfectly! Again, many thanks from me, myself and I!
