i keep having the same issue. on chapter 7/9 dominion “he was my student” on bastion waypoint 40.0/20.0
the issue is once you click the light on the wall in front of you it starts an instance. however i am dropped from a huge distance in the air over stormwind (im horde druid) i either fall to my death or i have to go into moonkin form and flap wings before hitting the ground, fight off the air raiders, then go into stealth mode, then run around until i get to the castle the instance once to start. as soon as i am in the correct location it boots me back to bastion where i started without completing the instance.
OR i click the map and abandon the quest that automatically returns me to bastion in shadowlands.
i have tried turning off all addons. reboots, etc. it was also saying my bnet link was out of date. however that was resolved today with a bnet update. so that part is good.
but not being able to complete the dominion chapter of shadowlands is annoying.
well the most annoying part is i was trying to complete all the chapters because i thought if i completed them all that i would get to fly around zereth mortis. until i realized the ridiculous about of achievements needed to fly i said nope forget that not doing it.
i mean its not as bad as having todo balance of power from legion (don’t get me started on that chain, i didn’t think my grandchildren would be able to complete it all and i don’t have kids yet lol)
