when i click on a thread, i’d like to land on the first post, not the first new post. for me, it makes sense to read the OP before i read any replies to it. usually i like to reread the thread, or at least skim it before reading any new posts, too. so i’m asking for a setting that disables automatic post jumping when clicking on a thread with new posts.
in addition, i would like a button on the timeline scroll bar that says “first new post” that will take me there. i’ve seen “back” before which does the same thing, but i’m assuming that only appears when i originate on a specific post.
