Repair and scan bug

I cant repair and scan on my battle.net because it just sends me in to a infinite loop of just scanning and i cant play. I tried doing the solution the contact support gave me which was deleting all the .IDX files in my data folder and reupdated but it didnt work and im still on the infinite loop. please help

hey man i was having the same issue with all games on my pc. tried all the suggestions nothing worked. went back and installed an older version of my graphics driver from dec 9th (RTX 2080 Super) and now everything is working flawlessly. not sure if its just an issue with the new update and my graphics card specifically but this is what worked for me and worth a try

This repair loop is typically caused by corrupted local Battle.net files, a third-party program, or in rarer cases a deeper problem with the Windows installation running the App. To troubleshoot this, try re-installing the Battle.net Desktop App with the steps below:

  1. Uninstall the Blizzard Battle.net App (skip Step 6 for now, we will re-install later).

  2. Next (before re-installing) let’s delete any Battle.net, Blizzard, and/or Blizzard Entertainment folders in the Windows temporary file locations below. If you don’t see all 3 folders in each location, that is okay—just delete the folders you have):

    • Press Windows Key + R and type: %LOCALAPPDATA%. Delete any Battle.net, Blizzard, and/or Blizzard Entertainment folders.
    • Repeat the process for %APPDATA%, %TEMP%, and %PROGRAMDATA%. Delete any Battle.net, Blizzard, and/or Blizzard Entertainment folders.

  3. Finally, re-install the App.

If the same problem occurs after re-installing the Battle.net Desktop App, fully update or temporarily uninstall security programs which may be interfering with the App. More information on troubleshooting security applications here, if curious.

i dont think its my own computer problem cause i tried doing a scan repair on hearthstone in the bnet app and worked just fine. just tried reinstalling it and didnt work
