Since the update to the latest Patch 2.37.0 the launcher lost the option to store the username/email in the login dialog.
The login dialog is now split into two dialogs to enter username in the first and password in the second. The option to remember the username in the first dialog is gone.

Same here. Must be a new “feature”
Additionally, at least for me, on the username dialog, and on the password dialog the input focus is not on the input boxes but somewhere else. So I cant just start typing in my data, but have to click/tab to the correct input box.

Same here - I tried posting in CS but the MVP sent me here. Having to do a full login (email/phone + password) every session is annoying and frankly inconvenient when the whole point of the app is supposedly convenience.
Issue still persists with the latest launcher update from today.

Same! Plus I keep getting kicked out of Hearthstone every hour or so because “my account needs to be updated”. I think it might be when I close the launcher after starting the game… idk for sure.
Having the same issue - still there as of today 10/16/2025

I’ve been having the same issue for days. It’s very annoying to always have to type out my email and password just to open the battlenet launcher.
Retested again. With the latest launcher version it is possible to check “Stay logged in”.
But when you want to remember the email only, but keep the password private for security, this is no longer possible. The option to remember the email only is gone.
Interesting is that the launcher has a config file in %APPDATA%\Battle.net\Battle.net.config. This is a JSON file with these settings:
- “Client”.“SavedAccountNames” - where I still see my email…
- “Client”.“RememberAccountName” - now false, but there is no way to toggle this setting
When I edit the config file and set “RememberAccountName”: “true”, my email appears in the first login screen again. So the logic is still there, just the check box is gone.
But after logging in, the setting gets reverted to false.

Based on what you did, i change some configurations and manage to keep fix the issue, at least work for me.
The changes comes in the nexr lines for login, it should be something like this:
“SavedAccountNames”: “your.account@blizzbrokeeverything”,
“GameSearch”: {
“PerformedSearch”: “true”
},
“AutoLogin”: “true”,
“DefaultStartupScreen”: “1”,
“Install”: {
“LastUserDownloadLimitNextPatchInBps”: “1000000”,
“DownloadLimitNextPatchInBps”: “0”
},
“GameLaunchWindowBehavior”: “3”,
“RestoreWindowOnGameEnd”: “false”,
“AutoLoginCN”: “true”,
“RememberAccountName”: “true”
Now we need to wait until blizz fix it or broke it again in the next bnet update, hope work for you.

A new launcher update came out today. Had no time yet to deeply look into it, but the remember email checkbox is still missing.
