I encountered a problem about 2-3 weeks ago. From time to time the connection to the battlenet is lost, due to which the connection disconnects me from World of Warcraft. This manifests itself in different ways, it can simply turn it off, the game can freeze and then unfreeze or turn me off. Today I started having an endless connection to the battlenet (nothing connects for about 2 hours). Before this everything was fine, I played without any problems. But now the only way to log in is to use a VPN, with which my ping becomes extremely uncomfortable (300+). I checked several VPN services, and the best indicator does not allow me to play normally.
Right at the time of writing the ticket, the connection was restored, but according to my observations, problems with connecting to the battlenet appear every evening between 7 and 10 pm. Because of this, I can’t play properly after work.
What could be causing this problem? I repeat, I previously played without any problems, but recently this problem appeared and it prevents me from playing.
I tried all the ways to solve the problem that I found on the forum, and none of it helped.
There are no problems with Steam, with GOG, with EGS, there are only with Battlenet.
What you’re describing is an oversaturated network route. The routes you use to connect to the other services may not experience delays because they aren’t the same as the one you use to reach Blizzard.
Your next course of action is to alert the ISP about the problem and when it’s occurring so they can monitor the traffic and optimize their routing.
