Run the game as administrator or try running some compatibility systems like Windows XP.

Right-click on the launch icon and choose “Properties” then go to the “Compatibility” tab.

All options are there.

I know of one other way that involves the registry that worked for me once, but it’s a last resort measure.

None of this works in all cases. But, you can look through this list provided by Blizzard:

what is the registry solution ??

i dont think i need to make another administrator account if i can simply right click the game icon and choose administrator already, right ?

When I had this problem, I uninstalled D2/LOD and deleted this registry entry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Diablo II

Then reinstalled the D2/LOD with the 1.14d patch. Worked fine for me and several others back in the day. Back up your registry first before changing anything.

still no luck

could it be in conflict with diablo 3 ?

anybody know an solution ?

i had windows 11 version 21h2 someting like that, need 22h2 to work, ty
