Problem with d3d9.dll

So, Battle.net was running fine earlier. Yet now, it isn’t. When I try and open it, I get the below errors.

C:\windows\SYSTEM32\d3d9.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0x0000020.

After clicking Okay, it’s followed by the second.

Cannot launch Battle.net
A required DLL could not be found. Please redownload and reinstall Battle.net.

I’ve uninstalled, then reinstalled Battle.net twice, rebooted between the installations, yet continue to get the error.

I’ve been running into Ram issues lately, so I was using various scans to try and pinpoint the issue. Chkdsk and Scannow were used between Battle.net working, and then failing. I don’t see how either could cause an issue with the dll, however.
