Was läuft falsch?

Danke für die Antwort im Voraus.

Problem starting Diablo 2 Resurrection

I installed Diablo 2 Resurrection yesterday. After clicking the play button I get to see the first sequences of the Blizzard logo. However, the game then hangs. In the task manager comes the message: “No response”.

Here is my system information:

(removed)

I changed the region without changing the problem. That’s not the case. I just turned off the virus protection. As a result, the opening sequence ran through to the Diablo 2 Resurrected logo. However, this was then displayed in the lower right corner of the screen with a size of about two by three centimetres. After that, the game gave no feedback either.

I tried the “Scan and repair” and “Check for updates” options without changing the problem.

What’s wrong?

Thanks for the answer in advance.

Hi,

Welcome to the Desktop App Technical Support forum; this forum exists to provide support for technical issues with the Battle.Net Desktop App (the « Laucher »). Technical Support for D2R is provided in these forums :

You only provided the very first lines of the DxDiag report… it does not show information on your Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). According to the HP website, the ProBook 470 G1 Notebook is available with the following GPUs:

  • Intel HD Graphics 4600 (4th Generation Intel Quad-Core i7 and Dual-Core i5 and i3)
  • Intel HD Graphics (Celeron and Pentium configurations)
  • AMD Radeon™ HD** 8750M, with 1 or 2 GB dedicated DDR3 video memory

Those 3 GPUs do NOT meet the Diablo II: Resurrected minimum system requirements ; integrated graphics are not supported for D2R and the performance of the AMD Radeon HD 8750M is worse than that of the AMD Radeon HD 7850 and of the nVidia GTX 660.

If the Notebook is the only computer you have, you may want to consider asking for a refund. If you haven’t played the game at all, you can do so here: https://eu.battle.net/support/de/help/product/d2r/1930/1932/solution .

You can also submit a ticket and see what Blizzard Support can do for you; use this link: https://eu.battle.net/support/de/help/contact/1937/ticket

Regards.
