Have you tried the troubleshooting suggested in this Support Article ?
{Translation: Every time I open a game, it says “PREPARING GAME DATA” and downloads 1 GB at the slowest speed my internet allows.}
It may not be a problem on your end, or that you can do anything about. Blizzard sometimes has very slow download speeds for a variety of reasons, but make sure you check your internet connection speed. I’m currently updating Hearthstone, but it’s trickling at between 0 and 20KB/second, when my browser just verified at a connection speed test site that I’m running 160-180MB/second there. It’s not you, it’s Blizzard.
