I have Warzone, coldwar and vanguard. About 6 months ago after an update I was not not able to play warzone or coldwar anymore.
I constantly get this :
**An error has occurred while launching the game. Follow the steps in this support article to fix this issue. **More help: BLZBNTBNTBNA00000015
I have tried the repair several times, same results and message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with same result and message. I ended up completely removing all folders and config files to try and be sure nothing was left behind that may be causing the issue and did an install with same results and message. I at one point reinstalled blizzard launcher, same results and message. Someone please help me! I can not even play or enjoy games I have invested time and money in. Funny thing is Vanguard multiplayer plays where the others will not allow it.
Have the exact same problem since months, and tried the solutions suggested by Blizzard.
Needless to say, it didn’t work. BUT One way I found to make it work is:
Create a shortcut to the ModernWarfare.exe file to your desktop
Launch the game via Battle.net (it will display the error code)
Immediately after launch the ModernWarfare.exe shortcut and you will be able to connect, but remember to launch the .exe AFTER you faild to launch it via Battle.net (you may need to confirm the launch as an administrator after you open the .exe file)
Basically what I found is that the problem is confined within the Battle.net launcher, meaning that it cannot launch the .exe file properly, but gives to the server the “authorization” for your account to connect to the servers (thus the necessity to launch it via Battle.net first).
I’ll be looking online for other solutions to the Battle.net problems, and will get back to this forum in case I find something.
