I don’t know why you think it’s a good marketing strategy to advertise a violent game such as Call of Duty in a forcefully inescapable overlayed video that you must click X to remove to access the battle.net client, including over child friendly titles such as Hearthstone.

Blizzard does not make games for kids. they make games for adults. just cause a spin off game does not meet rated T or higher ratings does not change that. They are also pushing a game, not a gun. if a game makes you kill people there is something wrong with you.

I agree with this sentiment: I’d like to be able to hide ads from titles with modern weapons. I come to Blizzard for the Sci-Fi and Fantasy, and cringe when I see “Realistic” violence – I say this as a Veteran, with personal experience.
