Played with a good friend and now i get destroyed in lobbies

Hi, so my friend (my name) recently got me into overwatch and im completely new, and we play a few quick play matches and the players in my lobbies have started getting really good and too good for me. I get destroyed in every single lobby and i cant play ranked with people of same ability as i cant get enough wins. Every match i cant do anything and i am just wondering if i can reset my lobbies or resolve this somehow. Thanks.
