So I was right with avx in my case but we need the last piece of information.
Whiskers have an intel 12th gen and manage to fix the problem resetting the bios, so probably it was overclocked(i5-12600k) and I think avx give some problems with overclocking.
@AlainLiziotte have a similar xeon of mine( 980-x990) and have the same issue as me and @Sala7 who at this point I think he need avx too.
I already asked to Sala7 if he can launch vanguard and he said he can, so we have two options:
1)Sala7 do not need avx and have another problem
2)Devs of vanguard removes avx requirement (who was in the beta one year ago) so we have a chance when the full game will be released
I will not buy vanguard to test this, but if AlainLiziotte can launch vanguard it mean that the full game does not need avx.

Yes if iām right I think there is a chance for us if infinity ward will do the same thing who sledgehammer done (we still need confirmation from Alain or someone else)
For now I suggest you all to refund the game and wait until warzone 2 release and try it for free or borrow an account from your friends to test it when the full game will be out.
If WZ2 will work than MW2 must work too.

no I didnāt try Vanguard before or beta but I thought when asked me before about it I thought Valorant so Iām not sure now if the full game will work for us or not
I did not try Vangard after AVX removalā¦ I didnāt know they removed it.
Didāt try Vangard Beta either.
I just tried it at the beginning of the release and it wouldnāt start.
Would give me an error about AVX not supported.

I think warzone 2 will be on the same specs like one cuz there are a lot of players playing the game on the low specs too
Ok guys weāre done: vg still need avx according to Alain, so refund the game as soon as possible.
We can still try wz2, but Iām skeptical it will work, so our only chance is to upgrade our pcā¦
No way ill ask refund no need for this **** game

I only tested Vanguard on its release. Itās been a while.
my game no longer starts after playing for several days. suddenly it crashed multiple times when i played invasion game mode, then it started crashing when i clicked the mw2 beta button in the start menu, so i tried reinstalling and since then now the game no longer starts at all
I had the same issue but have found a way to get it open.
On Battle net next to Play click the cog and select Show in Explorer.
Go to the Beta folder and once in it click on cod.exe and it should open up the game.
Iāve tried that but nothing also
I found out about this avx issue since Death stranding which I bought but it was from instant gaming and I could not get a refund.
My specs are
Xeon x5690
DDR3 24 gb
Rtx 3080
Windows 10
My pc plays Warzone and MW2019. I had tried blacks ops cold war beta with an older xeon and it played fine, but since the upgrade I did not tested it. I suspect the game will launch, but I have it on Xbox not PC. Now I bought vanguard couple months ago, and the game does not launch so I stopped updating every once in a while. It has the same issue as OP stated. I contacted Activision, they told me to try things but now they want me to contact my internet provider and ask to change a bunch of settings, but I donāt have the time to do this for Vanguard. I brought it for the campaign since it has not been cracked. Iām not interested in itās multiplayer.
But MW2 I am hella interested as well as Warzone 2. And now I canāt lunch the beta. I did not purchase the game since I suspected its beta might pop the same problem. And it has. This sucks. I guess I have to buy a new pc soon. Iāll just keep my gpu and the new PSU i got.
Also, I took my time with vanguard and refund period passed so I canāt get a refund now. By the way who is this Alain guy? As I said at least buying a new pc down the line will make this games play. (I am so disappointed that death stranding is not working, I even thought to go find Kojima and befriend him and ask for him to remove this avx instruction, Lol)

MW2019 and Cold War do not require avx so we can play, but sadly they are needed for vg and mw2 and Iām pretty sure that from now on we canāt play a cod anymore until we upgrade our pcs.
With Diablo 2 remastered the devs fixed the problem just because the beta was āavx freeā and the people who bought the game because thay can run the beta, after the release can not launch it anymore.
Considering that we are a small percentage with xeon/old cpu itās very hard to think they will change anything
resetting BIOS worked for me also.
This is really bad news guysā¦ I pre-ordered MWII (vault edition)ā¦ would you go for the refund asap or wait (and pray on my knees) for the launch of the game without avx requirements?
I think buying new pc will be the solation here unfortunate I gave one of my friends my account to unlock the rewards for me on hope it will work with full game but after what you all said I think it will not work now I canāt even get a refund 
I didnāt bought the game because after vanguard I had the suspect that it would happen and unfortunately it happened.
I donāt think they will remove avx at this point, so if you donāt plan to upgrade your pc ask for refund

I refunded, because i played this game on Steam version and works perfect ! So reason to get game work, is not Bios, AVX or gbu or cpu of my computer. ITs something about system on bnet launtcher. ( bought game from steam )
