Aight, senior feedbacker here.
Chat: If you ever used another game’s chat then you know how bad OW2 chat is.
Color code the teams and include the current Hero of the player in parenthesis. For now you have to stop playing and press Tab to start reading all the names and find out what hero they have to decide how to respond or what actions to take.
For example X said “follow me” or “Buff me”.
How am I supposed to know who that is? Same for Voice Chat.
For the voice chat make the microphone icon to go grey as soon as they stop transmitting but make the icon fade out slowly for a couple seconds. Right now the voice chat goes like that:
-Come to me!
-(Who the hell said that?)
-Buff me!
-(Who the hell is talking?!?)
It’s too freaking fast for a game that demands your attention.
UI and Keyboard: Make it possible to navigate the Select Hero screen and Menus with WASD. It should be too handed. WASD for the left hand and space to confirm, arrows for the right. Disappointing that no menu accepts arrows or WASD.
Put a Battle Pass button on the top right of the screen along with the Social and Challenges.
You check your Challenges, you enter the match you want, after the match you check what you unlocked in the Battle Pass and repeat. I’m tired of going back, back, with the ESC just to open the Battle Pass and then just enter whatever menu I was in.
