Overwatch muting problem

After the most recent update when I play with my friend who is on PlayStation there is a bug on my side that he gets muted and when I try to unmute him it remutes him. This only happen on text chat. After continuously playing with him even with the mute more people in my games start to be muted as well. How do i fix this?
