I didn’t know how to categorize this question, but I really want to know what happens when a team from the Overwatch League disappears or leaves the League, and you own a skin related to that team. Would it disappear and you can never use it again? Hopefully someone from blizzard can answer this directly.
I’d categorise it as an Overwatch 2 question.

Although you are right and I didn’t make an effort to look outside the main forum page, there’s no direct link to that particular forum from this page, and I think they should add it. Same goes to other blizzard games
