Option to revert to an older version of the Blizzard Launcher?

The older version of the Blizzard launcher worked better for my monitor configuration as i typically have the launcher maximized on a 2nd 1080p monitor that is turned vertically in portrait mode.

With the newer version not having an option for the friends list to be hidden or minimized, the news feed and socials get clunked into weird skinny columns when the window is resized to a portrait configuration.

Is there a way to revert to the older version of the Blizzard Launcher?

Howdy iTsp,

If you are on the beta version, you can rollback to the older version by clicking the Blizzard logo then going to Settings > Beta and click ‘Switch to standard version’.

Im currently using the ‘Standard version’, I was wondering if there was a way to revert back to previous versions of the ‘standard version’.

If that is not an option at this time, my next question would be: is there a way to remove or minimize the friends list with the ‘standard version’?

You could try uninstalling the app and then reinstalling using the older install file here. However there doesn’t appear to be a way to change or hide the friends list in the new version. You can make a suggestion by posting on the Feedback forums though. Keep in mind that using an older version of the Blizzard app may cause weird issues or problems with updating games, so at some point in the future you may need to update the app to the latest version.

Unfortunately it didnt work for me. It just automatically downloads the new version of the launcher when i start the installation. And in attempt to perform a work around, i then proceeded to launch the installer offline, but it doesnt let me start the installation without a connection to the internet.

If there are any other suggestions, im open to it.

If not, I suppose my best option now is to leave feedback and hope the Devs listen.
Either way, thanks for your time.
