I purchased Call of duty BO6 standard edition, i was able to run the game few times and later i started getting DirectX error after launching the game, then a new version was released it allowed me to run the game and play it, now and not sure if after win11 win update I’m unable to even start the game !! the button says playing but it doesn’t start .
I have tried all possible fixes:
1- running sfc /scannow
2- scan and repair
3- changing installation folder name and relocate the game
4- uninstall the game and reinstall it.
5- uninstall ALL call of duty versions that i have and re-install them, all worked except BO6
6- making sure i have more than 100G free on my hard drive
I noticed that MWIII is greyed out under Modify install which i believe it’s the base version.
7- I purchased Black ops 6 - Black Cell (season 3) version thinking that that might fix the issue … but unfortunately not !! i haven’t even had the chance to try this version.
