[Nov 10] Main Thread: Blizzard Desktop App crash

Keep opening the client until it installs. Same thing happened to me. I had to open it a couple times.

According to Twitter, they are investigating the issue now:

Thanks for sharing that Fangz. We are indeed looking into these reports.

The same thing has been happening to me since the update.

Glad to see it’s not just me.
Was messing around on WoW, having an issue with an addon, logged out and shut down the app and went to reconnect and now it just crashes. Already tried reinstalling it too.
Finally found this and saw it’s not just me!

I was having the same issue. I reinstalled and cleared cache and still didnt work. I just opened battle.net by going into vanguard and launching the vanguard launcher and it didnt crash. Now its downloading the update for vanguard

Same thing here. This is one of my many error codes. 42BEC75C-68C8-4FC3-8071-5702F3723C12

whatever is happening is certainly happening server side

Same issue here too. Battle.net client crashes repeatedly upon launching and I receive the following error message: 9511FEF9-89D8-4691-918A-4FA04B67471E

I’ve tried both the beta and release versions of the clients - no change. I’ve cleared the client cache and uninstalled/re-installed - no change. Windows 10 did install an update and the client hasn’t worked since. The Windows 10 update was November 9, 2021—KB5007186 (OS Builds 19041.1348, 19042.1348, and 19043.1348).

Having the same issue here as well as a friend of mine. We both have similar systems with the same GPU. GTX 970.

Hi, I am experiencing the same problem. As soon as battlenet loads it crashes again. I have tried the above post multiple times with multiple restarts with no success. I was using battlenet yesterday with no problems.
