Microsoft/Blizzards new 2024 update for Warcraft 3 has destroyed a myriad of older TFT (The Frozen Throne) maps.
Legion TD 6.2B is unplayable, your builder appears as a dark shaded circle, if you build a unit you can’t upgrade it because it’s a dark shaded circle too, so are the NPC’s for each wave, you can watch dark circles fight dark shaded circles, it shows the gold you’re getting but at the end of the round you can’t click on your units to upgrade them, you can’t click on any of your buildings, even the King is a dark shaded circle.
The Town Hall, Farm, Advanced Barracks, Barracks, etc are all dark shaded phased out circles. You can see where they should be but they’re out of phase. You can select a builder, and it lets you build a unit but once you do it’s also out of phase.
What’s odd is 1.7 Legion TD works and that’s even older but 6.2B or 6.4 doesn’t work.
(Other maps from friends too many to name also don’t work.) So it’s not Just Legion TD.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled TFT (The Frozen Throne) that took 50 minutes to an hour!
I have tried the Scan/Repair function that didn’t find anything wrong or resolve the problem!
After I reinstalled the game another small update of just a couple hundred MB popped up and I installed it and that didn’t solve my problem!
I uninstalled/reinstalled the Bnet launcher and that didn’t solve the problem!
I reset my Router and that didn’t solve the problem!
I used msconfig to flush my dns cache and reset my network and that didn’t solve the problem!
My firewall isn’t blocking the game the problem is in the game itself, everything that should exist doesn’t instead it’s out of phase.
Your update broke the game I love to play and I still own the CD/CD Key. It’s beyond frustrating that you guys broke a 30 year old game I belong to a Legion TD Clan all 65 players are currently offline.
If you were trying to get rid of loyal fans than you’re succeeding! You guys have broken Warcraft 3 before. In fact Legion TD which I love to play hasn’t worked 100% right since you guys broke it a few years ago, it suffers from tremendous lag for levels 21 through 32 and it doesn’t matter if you have a brand new GPU. But staying on point here - the issue/problems are not on my end.
That was what I sent to a GM who was gaslighting me that the problem they created with their worldwide update was an issue but only on my end. Ad Nauseam.
