Would like to know why we after 20 years have to pay for something twice. I already have DF, why should it be included for us that own it, in the new expansion. Maybe give a price for those of us who already own it.

To be clear, when a new expansion launches, all prior expansions are included for free. If you were a new player say at the launch of Dragonflight, you wouldn’t have had to buy Shadowlands or any prior expansion. And if you were a new player today, you could pre-order the new expansion, and until it launches, they are giving you access to Dragonflight and all prior expansions for free (just like if you were to buy it on launch day).
So you’re not technically paying for the prior expansion again, as it’s going to become free to everyone once the new expansion launches anyway. It’s just a perk for brand new players who might be tempted to pre-order.
