My friend was banned on WoW for some reason, and has not played wow in a year +
We have been playing Diablo 4 this whole time, and our last play was around 9 days ago. when he logged in yesterday it said he was banned. he submitted a ticket and the person behind the ticket just said they are keeping it banned to protect privacy. cool thats great but how does he get his account back? it makes zero sense. he has tried to make a ticket but when you go to do that it wants him to log in? his acc is banned how can he log in? he just paid for DLC etc and now can’t play his account please fix this issue, or tell me how we can go about fixing this problem because he just spent 100+ on his account in your store to have it banned 2 weeks later?
I am a fellow player and cannot review his account, but I can answer some general questions.
Ban waves don’t always happen immediately, as Blizzard collects data about hacks/cheats over very long periods. It’s possible that something he did when actively playing was later discovered to be an exploitative process.
By making a new Bnet account and referencing the old one in the ticket.
You will not be able to contact Blizzard on his behalf, he will need to do this on his own.
If he has further questions, he should post in the Customer Support WoW forum, not the Bnet troubleshooting forum.
Good luck.
How is him making a new account going to help his situation? they will just claim he isn’t him an keep it banned. this is dumb. it will be a repeat of the first answered ticket. nothing but circles. can you just tell me how to fix it?
Again, this forum only has other players in it, because it’s a troubleshooting area for the Bnet client on PC.
Zero account issues are handled over this forum.
These are the standard steps to follow when you are unable to log in to open a ticket. They will ask clarifying questions to prove his identity. Please ask him to use the proper forum and channels to continue discussing this matter. He can choose to follow this advice or shout into the void; that’s up to him.
Since this thread is not remotely related to the purpose of this forum, I will take my leave from here. Good luck.
