My character cannot be found! does any one have the same issue,?=?

after updating and installing drivers, finally went online,but when loading screen after few secs…it takes me back to se character screen and displays the text, that my character cant be found…been trying to play but any alts o characters can load in to the game…the most anoying 5 hours ever :nauseated_face: :face_vomiting: :confounded:

Yup, I’m having the same issue. I even re-downloaded the Battlenet app and repaired it but still no luck.

I took the day off for this and it looks like it was a total waste.

Same problem here, although I did briefly login and played for about 10mins, logged out for a bit, and then the error popped up… very annoyed!

I am having the same issue, I also can’t create any new characters and my allied races are not showing up as unlocked.

Same here. I go to log on and the server select screen shows no toons. They’re all gone.

Same here I was creating a new toon, upon updating my addons and closing the window it black screened me no toons in sight wtfffff

Same here. Once the character screen finally loads, it takes a few minutes after selecting my character, then it brings me back to character screen. It tells me no character found for ANY character I choose. :frowning:

Yep, same here. I was able to sign in for a bit, I signed out to switch toons and then now no characters can be found. RIP.

Having the same issue, logged in edited a few toons, logged out to manage some other things and when I log back in all my toons are gone. Blizz had better fix this soon.

Same thing here. Slow login, then finally loads the realms, then when I select, it kicks me back with “Character can’t be found.” Most annoying.

Most of us seem to have this problem. And also the allied races not showing up unlocked.

Same…characters will not even display now on the realm selection page. Previously I could see them but got the “character not found” message when trying to login

They know about it. I gave up too after my realm kept going down and when it was up, I got DCed logging in.

This is …sort of normal for a massive patch like this. I don’t like to say that, but it is true that something that totally changes the game world tends to have issues the first day.

They are aware and are working on it. Please follow the WoW TS Support Forums where Staff are replying and talking about it

P.S. This particular forum is for the Launcher desktop app, not actual individual game issues. It is important to direct folks to the forums where the team responsible for the issues is actually replying :slight_smile:

SSSoooooo is there any kind of update on this issue? Kinda a bummer cant get into any character to play the game.

I was able to play fine yesterday–but today, having this issue too-game can’t find any of my characters

Yeah same issue cant find a single character it was completely fine yesterday no problem. log on today to no characters found WTF any help blizzard would be nice or any update?

Same here. Brother stated he was switching to a different toon and could not get back in so I checked and yes same as well. Server list shows no toons at all on any of the servers and I have characters on 3 different servers.

Hopefully they will have this resolved soon.

It still amazes me after all the years I have been playing this game. All the upgrades to my own computer to enjoy this game the best way I can. You guys at Blizzard can not get your head out your !@# and get this right. I don’t care about your excuses, cause it’s the same for years now. I pay for this game, so fix the dam thing already.
