Someone please help, i tried to log into my battlenet account but it kept saying there was no account, i went to “forgot your password” and it said my email had no account with it. i tried to make a new account using the same email to see if it would say i already have one but now i just have this empty account that im using now. Where did my old account go, i spent a lot of money on those games, and if possible can we delete this one after? This is very frustrating as I have been trying to recover my account with no prevail and no where to go.
Hacked… most likely. You’ll need to contact Blizzard Support directly.
Thank you for this! But to make a web ticket it requires me to provide government ID to show that I am the primary account holder. I don’t remember having to do this when I originally made my Battle.net account, so why would I have to do that now? I don’t have an ID currently on me, which presents another problem if I were to absolutely have to have one.
Yes, you will need to provide a gov’t ID of some sort… there is info here:
Blizzard need to ensure that you are the owner of the account.
And no… we didn’t have to do this when we registered for the Battle.Net account… we were just asked for name, address and birthdate. Blizzard accepted anything you put in.
Other info might be acceptable… for example, a picture of your game key code… or such things that a hacker would likely not have access to. But it’s up to them to decide what’s acceptable or not, so…
