Modern Warfare 2 is really really laggy on a high end PC

I can hardly reach 70fps most of the time. It’s unacceptable. I have a 2500$ pc, an rtx 3070, an i710700k 32gb ram, and 100gb free space on a 1tb SSD.

Usually I get about 140-250fps in cod games, vanguard I got 180 or so, cold war was 200 a lot of the time, and mw19 was 190 or so.

This game? On MINIMUN settings, Barely 90 fps if I’m really lucky. Occasionally 100fps on a small game.

It’s just unacceptable, I cannot compete with anyone, I get 5-10 kills 30 deaths each game because I cannot respond quick enough to people shooting at me because of low fps.

I reinstalled the game about 4 times and its made NO difference.

I can interestingly manage to get 170fps on a 2v2 or 1v1 game. So it’s players that causes the issue mostly.
