I cannot login to Diablo II. After some digging I discovered I may have been temp banned for 2 weeks because I accidentally tried to connect while a VPN was active. Not only that, the game doesn’t tell you what’s going on and trying to login again can reset or extend the ban. Could a mod please tell me when I can safely play again?
I’d also like to comment on how cruel this is. There is no warning against playing on a VPN which I wasn’t even trying to do. There are tons of people who have been hit by this by trying to play on a VPN without knowing. It is made even worse by the fact that the game doesn’t even tell you what’s happening. I have been playing Diablo II since release and Diablo 1 before that. Blizzard, you need to find a better way to handle this. It is not okay.
