Hello, I have done all the troubleshooting possible, and the Midnikght Beta sill does not load, there are background processes for it. Scan and Repair, updated AV software, disabled AV software, run as admin, set compatiblity to win7/8, verified my drivers and O/S are up to date. Rolled back drivers, added command line arguments to force D11, cleared all blizzard folders with win+R, have tried to direct launch the wowb.exe file, and have done 2 full clean installs. The only thing that works is retail and classic, ptr.. not the BETA. I have contacted GM’s and they have verified that I am allowed beta access and that they did a quick refresh and cleared the cache on my account and told me to log out and back in. That di dnot work either. I keep getting the same result - background process and no client loaded. Everythign else loads just fine, retail, classic. Just not the beta.
EDIT: I have found a fix, it was with my system.
Open Command Prompt and ran it as an Administrator, and typed the following:
sfc /Scannnow [enter]
DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /CheackHealth [enter}
DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /ScanHealth [enter} thne restarted
Reopened Command Prompt and ran as Administrator and typed:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth [enter]
That took about 30 minutes and then I restarted. My PC had a few updates to do. Then I ran the Midnight beta and it works now. Just thought I would let you know that was the issue.
